Intelligence Analyst 3 – 186113
The Intelligence Analyst Spectral will perform and manage complex multi and hyper-spectral exploitation and analysis for the Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT)/Measurement and Signature Intelligence Squadron of the National Air and Space Intelligence Center.The engineer will work as part of a dynamic team to lead others and support our client with integrated spectral processing and analysis from multiple sources. Responsibilities will include the access of Spectral data, processing and analysis of data, and producing products based on the findings. The engineer will coordinate with integration analysts to create GEOINT reports and distribute products via export to Web pages, databases, or direct transmission to users. The candidate will need to posses communication skills to translate highly technical data into easily understandable formats and work with peers and supervisors in a dynamic and challenging environment. The candidate will interface with our clients on a daily basis and produce and provide briefings based on analysis. The ability to work in a positive team environment unsupervised, and perform quality assurance reviews on final products before dissemination is required.
The following are the Basic Qualifications for this position: 5+ years of experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field. Broad Knowledge of IR Phenomenology, remote sensing, imagery analysis, MASINT, GEOINT, AGI and GIS. BS in Science, Engineering or related technical field. Physics, engineering, remote sensing, electro-optics, meterology or mathematics course work is strongly desired. Experience in lieu of coursework will be considered. 4 + years of experience with processing and analyzing spectral data from national or tactical sources. Experience with ENVI, ERDAS Imagine, COSMEC, SMSTK, COMET SOCET GXP, and applying atmospheric correction and spectral matching algorithms to data. Ability to travel if required for mission - domestic or international. Demonstrated Technical Writing and briefing skills. Each higher level of degree may substitute for two years of experience. US Citizen with TS/SCI clearance required. Self motivated with strong leadership skills.
Desired Assets: Experience with spectral phenomenology. Experience with MASINT/AGI exploitation a plus. Ability to acquire new technical skills. Prior military intelligence experience a plus. US Passport. ATIC Coursework. MULTIPLE POSITIONS. Security Clearance Required.
