DLS GCSS A Training Developer Finance 3 – 184932
As member of the GCSS - Army Training Development Team, you will be developing training materials for the SAP-based GCSS - Army solution. Some courseware will be developed as Instructor-Facilitated Training (IFT) and some will be developed as Web-Based Training (WBT). You will also be expected to develop system simulations and Business Process Procedures (BPPs) for transactions in one or more of the following application areas: PM, MM, IM, WM, MRP, Procurement, FI/CO, PS, DFPS, EHS, SD, and AM. These simulations will also be used to provide Just-In-Time Training via an Electronic Performance Support System (EPSS). The training material will be delivered to what is estimated to be over 169,000 users and you may be asked to provide some of the initial instruction.

Requirements:


Bachelor's degree with 5 years of directly related experience. Years of experience may be substituted for degree requirement
At least 2 years' experience in instructional design with at least 1 year's experience with SAP ERP systems.
Experience with the following SAP areas (FI/CO, AM)
Experience working with process team members and subject matter experts (SME's) to create, revise, and validate end-user instructor-led training (ILT), system simulations and web-based training (WBT).
Experience using the standards and templates to develop classroom and web-based work products.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in teams and with all levels of management.
Expertise in with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint.
May be required to assist in delivering training, with travel involved.
Must be willing to work in Richmond, VA
Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance


Assets:

Experience with IMI development and EPSS tools (such as Trivantis Lectora, Global Learning's OnDemand Suite, Kaplan's STT Trainer, RWD's InfoPak or Productivity Pak) is a plus.
Experience developing training programs delivered through a learning management system or CD-ROM is a plus.
Experience creating/loading SAP training data a plus.
Knowledge of one or more of the following SAP areas is a plus (MM, IM, WM, HR, SD, EHS, MRP, Procurement, STOs, Deliveries, DFPS, Force Element).
Public Sector/Military experience a plus.
Bachelor's degree; related major a plus.
Participating in usability and/or pilot testing is a plus.
