The G-Army program, based in Richmond, VA, is searching for an HR ABAP programmer who will be comfortable in a teaming environment on a government project.

The programmer will:


Be able to work independently on HR specific tasks.
Required to convert HR requirements provided by HR SMEs into technical design documents,
Lead the review of HR technical requirements documents as well as own the coding effort for the given HR requirements.
Be a part of a conversion team, and because of the magnitude of the conversion, the preferred candidate will be able to work flexible hours

Basic Qualifications:


5+ years SAP HCM functional experience in PA.
2+ full-cycle implementations. (ERP implementation with HCM and Plant maintenance a plus.)
Proficient in configuration of Enterprise Structure, Global settings, and customizing procedures for Personnel Administration.
Proficient in configuration and build of qualifications, qualifications catalog, and profiles.
Experienced with development of functional design specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements.
Experience with development of BPPs and test scripts (unit and integration).
Primary skills should be in Personnel Administration and Personnel Development components.
Practical knowledge of PA, PD, and OM components; understanding of their integration points; and demonstrated ability to transfer this knowledge to anyone who is unfamiliar with ERP systems like SAP.
Experience with planning, development, and execution of workshops and briefings to management.
Practiced with managing a small team of SMEs.
Demonstrated ability to develop custom interfaces and programs using ABAP, IDOC, ALE and other middleware
Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, debugs, maintains and supports SAP HR custom programs
Must be US Citizen
