Join the men and women of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in meeting the largest, most complex systems challenges imaginable for government, military and business. Northrop Grumman is under contract on the Joint Counter Radio-Controlled Improvised Explosive Device (RCIED) Electronic Warfare (JCREW) 3.3 program. Our division is responsible for the development of a multi-function radio system with software-defined waveforms to provide the jammer capability against threats. The JCREW system will operate on highly secure, high performance military tactical networks, connecting air and ground forces to communicate in a network-centric environment. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled system engineer.
The following are the Basic Qualifications for this position: 2 - 5 years experience related to this position. Will work under the supervision of senior engineers. Requires skills in:
Developing detailed system requirements
Understanding of system architecture, functional requirements, interface requirements
Knowledge of system requirements development process
Experience with system requirements analysis, allocation to lower level products
The preferred candidate should have the following qualifications:
BSEE and/or MSEE degree
Experience in communications design, development, system architecture synthesis and implementation
Understanding of communication theory, signal processing, and real-time systems
Experience in integration and testing is a plus
Excellent communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills
Highly motivated self starter
