Strategic Planner: O5/O6 with ADA background. Technical expert in plans and operations in all aspects of doctrine development, training, integration, long range planning, synchronization, and execution. Capable of leading a technically focused team to accomplish complex defense research and analysis tasks. Will help create the Fires Center of Excellence Campaign Plan at Lawton-Ft. Sill, OK. May plan and perform specialized studies and analyses, including intelligence analysis, doctrinal development, or training exercises. Will lead certain aspects of a task or project. Provides training and mentoring to more junior staff members. Coordinates with other schools and centers concerning relevant issues.

Requirements: ILE or Command and General Staff College equivalent graduate. Experience desired in plans and operations at the tactical level: corps, division, brigade and below. Recent operational and or tactical experience is highly desired. Able to communicate effectively with customers and clearly present technical approaches and findings. Well developed briefing skills required.

Assets: Service Staff College graduate. Master's degree. Recent experience as a planner a plus. Deployments to OIF/OEF.
Security Clearance Required.
