JOB DUTIES:
As part of the Global Suppy Chain organization, perform Subcontract Administration function for a major program within the Ground Systems IPT. The selected candidate will be required to manage a minimum of three complex multimillion dollar subcontracts, interact with various program personnel as well as senior management. The selected candidate will provide work direction and on the job training to subordinate personnel if assigned to the program, pre pare RFP's, develop proposed terms and conditions to assure compatability with prime contract, award subcontract changes of varying contract type. Finally, the selected candidate will manage the subcontract and oversee its performance, including control of changes, monitoring of costs, schedules, and technical performance and fulfilment of reporting requirements. In addition, the selected candidate will participate in program reviews as required, develop status reports and conduct final closeout and settlement process.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
BS degree in Business Administration, Law, or Accounting plus a minimum of six (6) years directly related experience. Must be capable of performing multiple subcontracting tasks in parallel with minimal supervision. Requires excellent organizational, prioritization, and communications skills. Must be capable of working in a dynamic team environment and must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Knowledge/ experience with FAR, contracts/ subcontracts negotiations, various contract types and proposal concepts highly desired. Very good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products. Additional four (4)years related experience may be considered a substitute for degree.
