Roles and Responsibilities: Northrop Grumman Information Systems Sector is seeking a Java Developer to join our team of qualified individuals. The position will be located in Herndon, VA. The software engineer will be responsible for developing software for small to highly complex computer systems or portions of large, integrated systems. The individual will work on a team to design, develop, and maintain systems. The software engineer will investigate and collaborate to resolve customer issues to include providing software fixes to problems.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 14 years of experience or 18 years of equivalent experience in lieu of degree. Experience should include 10 years of overall software development of which 3 years is JAVA experience. Working knowledge of object-oriented programming methodology is also a requirement. REQUIRED TS/SCI w/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance
Desired Qualifications:
JAVA, Hibernate, Spring, XML, JavaScript, XSLT, Oracle or SQL Server Database, Lucene, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Excellent problem-solving ability. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
