Sr. Software Test Engineer 4 TS\SCI\FS POLY – 187519
This is a challenging opportunity for a Sr. Test Engineer to join a high performance team of professionals developing and testing leading edge software systems. The position is in support of an on-site restricted customer and will be located in the Northern Virginia area.

We are looking for an experienced test engineer that has a background of working closely with other members of a technical team in an agile environment. The engineer should be familiar with agile system life cycle processes and especially with all aspects of software testing to include system, integration, and regression testing. The Test Engineer's responsibilities will consist of testing developmental systems, tracking discrepancies, analyzing requirements and writing test plans, test procedures, and test reports. Writing detailed discrepancy reports, including steps necessary for software developers to reproduce the problem, is mandatory. The candidate must possess extensive knowledge of current Microsoft Office tools and testing in a networking environment. Experience with TargetProcess and Lotus Notes is a plus.

The following are considered requirements:
Bachelors Degree and 9 years of related experience, Masters degree and 7 years, 13 years of experience may be considered in lieuof degree.
All candidates must have a Top Secret SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
Must have experience with in the following areas; Design, develop, and implement testing methods, plans, and procedures for software systems.
Experience documenting test equipment requirements and configuring test equipment as required for specialized testing and evaluation of products.
Develop software test documentation.
Validate software requirements through analysis, inspection, and software code review.
Conduct regression, ad-hoc and acceptance tests with Customer representatives.

This position requires strong interpersonal skills in working with the customer, program manager and other technical team members in a "self starter" role.
