Sr. Project Management Analyst – 186496
Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Project Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals to develop, demonstrate, and transition technologies that enhance our nation's security. Initial assignment for the qualified applicant will support the Advisory & Assistance Services (A&AS) contract providing financial and program management support to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Nuclear Technologies Directorate, Detection Division.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Work in close collaboration with the Government customer to provide program planning and project management support
Provide acquisition management support for research and development in applicable defense against weapons of mass destruction threats
Provide planning and programmatic support to include assistance in developing program requirements, goals, acquisition strategies and contracting plans
Support development and implementation of project plans for assigned programs

Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Bachelors degree in business, management, engineering or science
Ten years general experience in acquisition, program management, project management, or technical project planning
Experience with providing acquisition support and preparing and coordinating acquisition documentation
Experience in executing program acquisition strategies
Proficiency in use of personal computer and Microsoft Office programs
A current DoD Secret Clearance (and maintain clearance while working on project)

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired qualifications will be given preferential consideration:
Certification as an acquisition professional or ProjectManagementProfessional
Masters degree in business, management or technical field
Technology development management experience
