Software Quality Engineer 2 – 188634
This is an exciting opportunity for a Software Quality Engineer on a high performance development team delivering the latest in secure communications infrastructure technology.

We are looking for an experienced system technologist that has a background in working closely with a technical team and should be familiar with life cycle and agile processes including software development/testing, hardware development/testing, test processes, and quality assurance techniques. Familiarity with CM processes is a plus. Your responsibilities will be to verify and validate that developed secure communications systems meet or exceed the system requirements.
Specific duties include:
* Design, develop, and implement validation and verification methods for developed software systems
* Validate testing documentation tests the system requirements/user stories
* Validate software builds from source code provided by developers
* Verify software and hardware requirements through analysis, inspection, software code review, unit/integration testing, ad hoc testing, formal and internal verification testing
* Attend Requirement Reviews and other task meetings; produce detailed meeting minutes
* Validate hardware and software acceptance tests adequately test the developed system
* Review documentation for accuracy, content, and format.

The following are considered requirements for the position:
Bachelors degree required with 2+ years of experience, Master Degree with 0+ years, 6 years of related experience maybe considered in lieu of degree.
Must poses a current or active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI and successfully complete a polygraph examination (current/active TS/SCI/FS Poly is preferred).
The candidate must possess knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Must have some experience with SourceSafe/Subversion.
Must have experience with 'bug tracking' software such as; DevTrack, TargetProcess, or BugTracker.net.
This position requires strong interpersonal skills in working with the customer, program manager and technical team in a "self starter" role.
