Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Arlington, VA.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Join us on the edge… The Cutting Edge! The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Information Systems Group. The candidate will provide Program Security Office administrative support to include developing, improving and maintaining electronic tracking databases; reviewing/tracking SF86s, JPAS, DCII, SII and other attachments; and properly receiving, marking, storing and transmitting electronic and hard copy classified documentation. The candidate will perform document control and security administration in support of customer requirements. The successful candidate must have a basic understanding of security administration, personnel and information security, and Communications Security (COMSEC). Security administrative support will be provided in accordance with applicable Department of Defense Directives, specifically the JAFAN series. Candidate must have good communication and customer service skills. Support will be provided in customer spaces and will require routine daily communication with customers.
Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
* Candidate must have 2+ yrs experience providing Program Security Office administrative support.
* Candidate must have a basic understanding related to operating in a classified work environment, and be familiar with the NISPOM, JAFAN series and other DoD security regulations and Executive Orders.
* Candidate must be familiar with access requirements per JAFAN 6/4.
* Candidate must be familiar with STE and STU-III operations and transmission log requirements.
* Candidate must be capable of working independently and be able to adjust work hours as necessary to meet workload requirements.
* Microsoft Office proficiency is required.
* A Top Secret security clearance is required; candidates without a current Top Secret clearance will not be considered.
* Must have a Bachelors with 3 years of experience; will substitute additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
* Position requires a current Top Secret Clearance
