Information Assurance Cross Domain Lead Engineer – 188506
Join us in supporting a key Bureau by evaluating and deploying cutting edge Information Assurance and Cross Domain technologies to secure their classified information assets. The successful individual will provide the customer with thought leadership as a trusted partner to infuse new technologies into their infrastructure to secure mission critical solutions. Position is located in Washington, DC convenient to Metro.
Roles and responsibilities will include:
As the Lead Engineer you will provide hands on leadership by example to a team of engineers.
Your team will begin by installing and configuring 18 racks of GFE to create a state of the art evaluation and prototyping lab in our facilities.
You and the team will then use lab to evaluate competitive cutting edge technology solutions that encompasses all of Information Assurance with the focus on Cross Domain capabilities.
You and the team and the lab will become the Bureau's Cross Domain Center of Excellence.
Job Qualifications:
US Citizenship and a current active Top Secret/SCI security clearance updated within last 4 1/2 years and/or recently de-briefed TS/SCI in last two years.
A Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline is required with a higher degree preferred. Position requires 10 years experience.
ITIL Certification is a big plus.
We are looking for a seasoned leader with deep engineering expertise in information assurance and cross domain technologies.
The successful individual will be able to demonstrate experience in the successful evaluation, design, build, setup, deploy and maintain of systems that use these technologies.
Superior verbal and written communications skills are a required attribute for the candidate. Experience should demonstrate successful direct customer support.
You must be a proven leader experienced in directing other engineers to deliver solutions that meet requirements within time and cost constraints.
You and your team must deliver solutions that are able to successfully achieve Certification and Accreditation.
Position is contingent upon contract award.
